JACK WELLS

Jack started drum lessons aged 12/13. From ages 14-16 he was involved heavily in a worship band at his local church which taught a lot about drums, especially dynamics. Around 16 he joined his first cover band, Call of Jupiter. The band were already a few years in which meant he was gigging most weekends which really sped up progression and had him gigging venues up and down the country.
The band was so much fun that he said he couldn’t imagine a life doing much other than gigging.
Jack attended SAE Institute in Liverpool and completed an Audio Production course before moving home and ultimately joining his first originals band “The Montagues”. They have released a few E.P’s, had national radio play and are currently working on their next project. Jack also plays drums for another originals band “BauCat”, they have played Glastonbury and Greenman as well as having singles on BBC Wales’ A-list playlist. To round it all off he play bass for a Welsh language Reggae Band, “Morgan Elwy” playing some great festivals up and down Wales.

Day to day Jack teaches guitar and drums for his local council and a local branch of Rock Project, an after school music tuition service. This allows him the time to focus on music whilst also passing down knowledge. Jack says: "I love my work and I play/create with passion. I love making connections and building relationships with other like minded professionals."
