Daniel on the Oasis Series
“The Oasis concept grew out of my experience with what was originally called the Arid Series. Those cymbals had a beautifully dry, articulate sound, but I noticed something special: when you hit them in just the right spot, they opened up with this lush, blooming wash. That contrast — dry clarity that suddenly expands into something warm and full — reminded me immediately of discovering an oasis in the middle of a desert.
With the updated Oasis Series, that character is even more defined. They’re darker overall, with stronger stick definition and a sharper, more expressive bell. They give you that dry, controlled sound when played softly, but when you lean into them, they open up in a way that feels alive and musical.
I also love pairing them with the Desert Series. Visually the pairing is beautiful, and sonically they complement each other perfectly. These Oasis cymbals are unique, easy to play, and people fall in love with their character as soon as they hear them.”
